Center
ball english ( c ). It is possible, to have an infinite
# of cueball contact points, for example; if you had moved
your tip 1/1000 of a millimeter to the right from this center
ball hit, it would be possible for 13,000 different hits
to move a 13mm tip one full tip away from center. This is
a factoid - however useless...

1
tip of right center ( rc ); Used preferrably to
cinch an ob I happen to be cutting a little left, or
when banking an ob ball a little left...
|
 |
3
tips toward 3 o'clock. This is maximum right spin, not counting
a masse' of course.
This will throw or bank an object ball ( ob ) as far as
possible to the left, the ob will take 2 tips of 9 o'clock
english from this 3 tip-3 o'clock hit because it loses at
least one tip of spin in transference.
For safety or position play, whether hitting a rail or ob
1st, the cb will come off the rail with maximum right hand
spin..
|
 |
Back
to center ( c ); Stops the cueball when hitting an ob straight
on. Causes ob's to kiss off eachother exactly where they
meet...
Stopping the cb on a long shot it is neccessary to hit the
cb a little below center, all these hits are medium firm
unless otherwise specified...

Looks
like 2 tips toward 8 o'clock ( 8 ). Used for;
Position play, drawing the cb little back from the cbobcp*
just a little toward the lower left than would be the center
ball normal deflection of the cb off the ob. Would also
be used to bank an ob causing the ob to react w/ 1 tip of
2 o'clock ( high right english )...
* See abbreviations on overhead menu.

 |
2
tips toward 10 o'clock ( 10 );
Ob spins 1 tip toward 4 ( ob loses 1 tip of spin in transference
).
Cb goes further through the obcp than would be the normal
c to c where they meet deflection, the cb then fights to
spin left after hitting a rail...
|
 |
10:30;
The perfect equal amount of left spin and follow, by this
I mean, neither are dominant, the cb will transfer 4:30
spin to the ob, which is another perfect combination of
right spin and draw.
Notice how everything is exact equal opposite...
|
 |
12;
Causes the cue ball to take maximum top spin and followthrough
of the obcbcp.
Imparts 6 o'clock ( 6 ) spin to ob, useful when trying to
make ob's
kiss off other ob's more than would be natural...
|
|

|
12;
When banking an ob that is near a rail, this hit will cause
the cb to hug the rail.
This spin will also bring the cb back to the rail when kicking
at a full ob within 1 diamond of that rail... |
 |
Looks
like 3 tips toward 1:15.
Follows through the hit and spins toward the right.
Causes the ob to take 7:15 spin...
