Jason
walks into the pool hall at Park Slope billiards just
like any other player. He is very polite, so much
so, that at times you really have to wonder whether
or not he's faking it. He does nothing out of the
ordinary and competes on a league team where he's
just one of the guys. He comes, he participates, he
socializes with others and then leaves. There appears
to be nothing special about his character and for
those who are not familiar with him, well, he's just
another guy in the APA. That may well be true to a
point and I stress the word point because unknowing
to you, this little guy has another side.
Readers, allow me the honor of introducing to you,
Jason the competitor. Whenever he competes in a billiard
tournament, amazingly, the game gets transformed into
something else. Logic becomes distorted and impassability
seems as distant as the stars. He transforms into
not just Jason but JASON KANE. I've said on many occasions
that Mr. Kane to my knowledge is undoubtedly one of,
if not the best competitor the league has seen since
its inception. I've said this not only because he's
a good player but rather because of his accomplishments.
Who really is Jason Kane?
